This is a vintage wood folk art lamp that was handmade by Berthner B, "Sculpture Sur Bois".
It features an old man siting by the brick fireplace with his dog, who appears to be a little Scottish Terrier, in the countryside.
It was made in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, a village in the Regional County Municipality of L'Islet within the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada.
A piece of French Canadian folk art at its finest!
This is truly a unique and original piece in excellent working condition.
The lamp is signed on the back by the artist.
Bulb not included.
