I love farm animals :-) The colors on this small antique hand hooked rug are bright and wonderful. This is a classic piece of Canadian folk art.
Historians believe rug hooking began in the eastern provinces of Canada and in the northeastern United States. 150+ years ago, our ancestors created floor coverings utilizing fabric scraps to lay upon dirt floors and warm their homes. Today these wonderful folk art rugs are appreciated by both collectors and decorators alike.

Measures 23 x 34 inches.
Condition:
Great condition for its age. It has some fraying around the edges, and some of the pieces have come loose. See detailed photos for condition.
Shipping:
Price includes tracking in Canada and USA. Items purchased from the USA are shipped from Niagara Falls, New York with USPS. Items bought in Canada are shipped from Toronto, Ontario with Canada Post. If you reside in Toronto, a pick up can be arranged. Overseas buyers (outside of USA and Canada) can expect the package to arrive in 2-4 weeks.
