This exquisite "bubble" lamp was most likely crafted in Italy circa 1970 by the illustrious lighting atelier Nemo, who has collaborated with such legendary designers such as Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier.
The glass base is also reminiscent of Helena Tynell's work.
The base has molded glass bodies with repeating orbital forms.
The linear horizontal and vertical seams separating these rows of bulbs create recurring organic geologic-like structures resembling four adjoining craggy peaks.
This table lamp represents the sophisticated sensibilities of Mid-Century Modernist Italian design at its finest.
Height: 32 inches to top finial.
Base Diameter: 5.75 inches.
Excellent working condition. Lamp shade has cracking in the plastic underpart, but does not show on the outside. See photos.
