I bought this clock as a first anniversary gift for my husband. It shipped fast and arrived well-packaged. When I unwrapped it I found that it had a 1.5" scratch on the glass face of the clock, which was obviously there before shipping as it was wrapped so well. I wrote the seller asking to return the item for a refund, as the shop policy says "I gladly accept returns and exchanges." When I wrote to the seller about my disappointment in the damaged item, his first response was "this is a vintage item so naturally there will be some wear." I get it. It's a vintage item. Some patina and wear makes it cool. But the damage is on the focal point of the clock. The scratch was also not mentioned in the item's description. The seller's solution was to issue a minor refund. Other buyers please take note that you may get a damaged item
