This is a beautiful black art glass vase with a gold oroplastic design around the vase depicting topless soldiers on horses at battle.
It is unsigned but I believe it is a Moser vase.
Leo Moser created the first designs of coloured cut glass with gilded bands of acid-etched decoration in 1914 and 1915. From the beginning of the 1920's, this decoration bore the commercial name "Fipop". The faceted glass used is similar to those executed by Moser for the glass designs of Josef Hoffmann in his artistic association with the Wiener Werkstatte.
